Lisa Butz - Supportive Living
Lisa Marie Butz stands out in her role of Supportive Living Education Team Leader at Willow Valley Retirement Communities. Her credentials include a BSN from Arizona State University, M.Ed from Penn State University in 1996 and she is currently pursuing a dual degree Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner. Lisa’s favorite aspect of nursing is her ability to impact lives.
Lisa understands that education impacts the quality of care that Residents receive. Her role is to teach new skills to Team Members, but she also understands the importance of relationships. Helping Team Members feel empowered and supported as they learn results in better Resident care. Lisa embraces the philosophy espoused by Helen Keller: “keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow”.
In her “spare” time, Lisa enjoys scrapbooking, watching her 11 year old daughter pitch softball (Dad coaches) and teaching youth Sunday School at her church.
