Tiarra Mann - Baker - Culinary Services

Tiarra Mann is an outgoing Team Member who graduated from Hartford Technical High School with a 3.9 GPA, then went on to shine at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh.  There, she studied pastry arts as well as wine pairings and nutrition.  Tiarra graduated on the Dean's List and continues to study trends in the culinary field.

At Willow Valley Retirement Communities, her easy-going manner has made this talented baker a tremendous asset to the culinary services Team.  Tiarra looks for new ideas and works with her colleagues to bring them to life.  During the holidays, she delighted Residents with a gingerbread cookie-decorating event - they loved the colorful activity ... and the delicious treats!

But she doesn't limit herself to the state-of-the-art kitchens on our Lancaster, PA campus.  Tiarra was a mentor at the Urban League in Pittsburgh. She caters special events for friends and family at her expense. Tiarra donates sheet cakes to the Mount Sinai UAME Church for special events as well as working with community services to provide cakes for the homeless during the holidays.

Tiarra demonstrates a career in culinary services is far more than just a job.  Whether in the classroom, the Willow Valley kitchens and in the local community, she is enriching lives wth her talent and time.
