Nursing Assistant Certification Training
Nursing Assistant Certification training classes and the state test are provided and paid for by Willow Valley Retirement Communities for individuals who are offered a position but are not already certified. It’s part of our commitment to recruit and hire the best professionals to care for Residents of our skilled nursing care units. First, please complete an on-line employment application on the careers page.
The certification training is 120 hours over a 17 day period. You will not receive pay while in the class but upon successfully completing the class, you will be placed on payroll the first day of company orientation and will be able to start working in your department after orientation is completed. You will have 120 days to take and pass the state test. After you take and pass your state certification test, there will be a pay increase. There is an additional $1/hour shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shifts and an additional $2/hour for weekend differential.

Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
2/15 – 3/9 (no class on 2/20)
3/14 –4/6 (no class on 3/30)
4/11 – 5/4 (no class on 4/30)
5/16 – 6/8 (no class on 5/28)
6/13 – 7/6 (no class on 7/4)
7/23 – 8/14
8/20 – 9/12 (no class on 9/3)
9/13 – 10/5
10/17 – 11/9 (no class on 10/29)
11/13 – 12/10 (no class on 11/21, 22, 23)
